Canter Study, 8x10 Oil on Canvas Panel
Hi friends, I am so sorry I have not been posting regularly of late. For those of you who get my newsletter, you know that I have been busy preparing for two weekends of shows coming up in September. The Headwaters Stable Tour, September 13-14 and The Tournament of Champions the following weekend. All my new paintings and commissions in progress can be seen in person at these two shows. I have a couple new paintings to post over the next couple days. This one is an oil canter study of Sampson, completed on a toned canvas panel. I quite like its simplicity and decided to leave it that way. It is so easy to overwork a piece!
