Finally done, four weeks straight of art shows and studio tours! It has been great, but I miss painting! I can’t wait to get back to working in the studio!
Here are a couple new sketches I have done of a little filly named ‘Fleur’. Fleur is by the Westfalen stallion ‘Freestyle’, who stands in British Columbia.
Although this is a commissioned work, she fit all the criteria for my Canadian Bred series. I will be posting my works of her, to be done in graphite on this blog.
The conditions were perfect for our photoshoot of this spunky yet feminine filly and what a show she did put on for us! I have so many reference shots the sketchbook will fill up quickly! In the meantime, here are two I have done so far..enjoy!
