Braecrest Stables – Jumping in January!

Please join Young Horse Trainer Extraordinaire, Claire Hunter this Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at 1pm at Braecrest Stables, Loretto, Ontario. She is presenting a Free Jumping Demonstration of her collection of Quality Sport Horses available for sale. Enjoy a hot chocolate or a glass of wine while finding your next show ring partner!  Everyone is invited into the arena as well, and seating will be available.

They will be having a raffle to raise money for the Multiple System Atrophy Support Group. Help them find a cure for this awful disease that sadly, Claire’s father suffers from.

A couple more updates

Things are moving along with the Studio/Gallery move. In case you haven’t visited my studio blog lately, here is a shot of the new space that my studio is moving to, part of The Bartlett Gallery, located in the Alton Mill, Caledon, Ontario.

 I will continue to oversee the daily operations of the gallery and use the space as my working studio. Beautiful space isn’t it?!

On the horse side of things, Andrea Volasko’s new website is up and running. www.janakofarms.com. Home to Zanaqu and breeders of Canadian Warmblood Sporthorses, in Mansfield Ontario. I did the photography for the website and think it looks fantastic on the new webpage!! The photos were taken as future references for paintings in the series.

The website was designed by Shannon Smith of Nth Degree Solutions. Shannon also runs a successful Sporthorse Breeding operation in Orangeville, Ontario. Her stallion Sailor’s Spirit, is the sire of Emma, AKA Black Pearl, featured in my series.

Sketches from the Series at Pear Home!

I’m proud to announce the Canadian Bred Artwork Series is catching on! Pear Home, my favorite home decor and gift boutique in Orangeville is now carrying note cards from the Canadian Bred Series, along with a few other popular images from my studio.
