Panama K – In Progress
March 11, 2008
Viewers last saw Panama K as a grisaille, or grey scaled underpainting. She now has approximately 10 layers of transparent colour over that base. As each layer dries, I continue adding more colour.
In life, the filly is chestnut. I want an incandescent or warm feel to the final work, but in her current stage, she is slightly red/gold. In the upcoming layers, I will tone the red down, as well as work on making the background glow.
I wanted to remind my friends reading that you can read more about Panama K on her ‘Page’ to the right of the screen as well as see all the works I have created of her thus-far, under her ‘Category’. Stay tuned for more!!
