Sketches of Panama K
February 14, 2008
With every subject in the series, I started out creating loose studies, drawn with Water-soluble Graphite on Arches Cold Press.
The sketches of Panama, or ‘Blossom’, as she is known in the barn, I wanted to convey her refined, china doll like features. I think my initial study was successful. I have now moved on to create this same pose in oil. I have an image in my mind of treating the composition like she were still-life.
This sketch is available, inquire for purchase.
